Rubber Mulch Installation – St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School
The Brief
St Augustine’s Catholic Primary were looking to install a safety surface around their existing trim trail. After discussions with our projects manager, the site selected rubber mulch as their new safety surface.
Installation
Our installation team made a start by clearing the area and marking out where the rubber mulch was going to be placed. The team dug our the area and trench edge before laying the weed membrane onto the grass, providing longevity and durability of the rubber mulch. The site chose brown rubber mulch with an area of 22.5m x 3m, plus 40mm depth.
Outcome
The site were over the moon with their rubber mulch install which will allow safe play for pupils and longevity of the trim trail.
