Monthly Health and Safety Meetings
Sportsafe works with a highly qualified external health and safety consultancy, keeping us informed of the latest changes to legislation and providing exterior training for our staff. We have a health and safety committee with representatives from throughout the business including inspectors and office staff, who meet with the Directors and senior management to discuss and review all aspects of health and safety.
Health and Safety Credentials
Sportsafe also holds industry recognised health and safety credentials including Alcumus Safecontractor and CHAS. We recognised many years ago that these accreditations were essential to the business and have held these standards for many years.
Rigorous Inspector Training
Thanks to our unique ISO 17020:2012 accreditation, all our inspectors undergo a rigorous programme of training to ensure that when carrying out the sports equipment inspections they have the best knowledge possible. Our inspectors are trained to identify and risk assess all the hazards they may come across to ensure our customers are fully informed of any hazards and dangers associated with the equipment they have. By ensuring that our staff understand that everybody within our organisation is responsible for health and safety we can be certain that our customer’s health and safety is a priority.
