All Weather MUGA – Long Ridings Primary School

Large growing primary needed more all weather sports facilities. Sportsafe were asked to design and quote for a full-sized Muga installation to be built on the main field. After carrying out a detailed site survey, our team designed and installed a top-of-the-line Muga.

Sportsafe offered a 2G sand filled full sized Muga with an Engineered base, complete with permanent cut in line markings for Football (white), Netball (Yellow) and Basketball (Red) – to minimise maintenance and line painting. Also included was 3m high Weld Mesh fencing with 1200mm rebound layer, full double and single gate and linking pathway into the main playground. The construction was completed through the summer school holidays and ready for September.

The Muga facility allows the school a sports pitch for a variety of sports and sports coaching – all year round. The linking pathway allows children to access the site without getting muddy either to or from the area.
