Wet Pour Rubber Crumb – Lakenheath

We were contacted by the site looking to upgrade their current safety surfacing surrounding existing play equipment, The current surfacing was lifting and in need of a good clean. The Sportsafe Projects team and the site decided a complete refresh was the best option.

Once the quotation and planning process was completed, the date was set and it was time to make a start on the projects. Our installation team started by removing the existing, outdated surfacing. The base was then prepared for the new rubber crumb to be laid, and any re-leveling was carried out. The team prepared the rubber crumb solution and worked together to lay and evenly distribute the soloution in the chosen colours. The rubber crumb was then left to set into place, ensuring the longevity of the material and keeping the surface as smooth as possible.

On the follow up visit from the Sportsafe team, the site were very pleased with their new safety surfacing, the vibrant colours bringing more life to the area and in return, encouraging more children to utilise the equipment.
