Fitness Equipment – Colchester
The Brief
Stanway Primary School came to Sportsafe with an exciting prospect of transforming an unused area into an outdoor gym. Together, we picked out the right fitness equipment for the children to explore and decided to install grass matting underneath for safety.
Installation
Our engineers wanted to make the fitness equipment as fun as possible for the students and chose a Children’s Air Skier, Double Air Walker, Elliptical Cross Trainer and Rider for them to discover with their friends. The two grass mats each measured 1m x 1.5m, perfect for underfoot safety.
Outcome
We were thrilled to hear the children love playing in their new outdoor area. The new equipment encourages the children to get outside and explore, developing their social and fine motor skills as children play and learn together. The equipment also encourages the children to work on their fitness without knowing it as they play.
