Basketball Goals – Bridgend
The Brief
Heronsbridge School came to Sportsafe with an interesting problem, which we were only too happy to solve. Staff wanted to install basketball goals for their students but one of the walls was not able to take the weight of our usual design.
Installation
Our team got together and examined the school hall to come up with an affordable solution. Sportsafe engineers quickly realised we could spread the load by fixing the basketball goals through the wall and into wood on the other side, minimizing the weight on the wall by clamping the goal in place.
Outcome
The project was a huge success! Heronsbridge school students are now able to play basketball thanks to our creative solution and are enjoying challenging each other to games.
