Sports Hall Fit – Kent

The Brief

Highworth Grammar School had a fantastic project for Sportsafe to get involved in – fitting out their sports hall. From roof mounted basketball goals to netball, volleyball and badminton posts, we were asked to complete it all. There was even a scoreboard, five-a-side goals and a floor canvas to complete the fit.

Installation

It was a big job and one our engineers were keen to get to work on. We installed the heavy duty floor canvas and enjoyed setting up Highworth’s Favero scoreboard, which was radio-controlled. The basketball goals included both roof mounted and wall mounted goals while the posts were installed complete with floor-mounted basis. The five-a-side and handball goals were both folding and freestanding and could even be used for hockey.

Outcome

This was a fantastic project to be involved in and our hard work paid off when Highworth Grammar School later asked us to come back and install netting and line markings for their students. We loved creating such an inspiring sports space for the students and hope they are enjoying it as much as we did putting it together for them.
