Sportsafe were thrilled to have two finalists in this category for 2016 out of a total of six finalists for the North of Essex. Our apprenticeship programme is very important to the growth of the company.

Best overall business for EMEA demonstrating growth, sustainability, innovation and team for 2014, the only company to ever have won this award two years in a row. Sportsafe attended the EMEA business awards ceremony and 2-day business seminar series in Brighton on 10th April 2014. Sportsafe was nominated as finalists in ‘The Best Overall Business’ category and ‘The Best Entrepreneur’ category.

After a tense wait Sportsafe walked away with ‘The Best Overall Business’ award for the second time in two years. This is the only time in the history of the EMEA awards where a company has won the top award twice, back to back. This demonstrates the continuous development of Sportsafe and highlights the high-quality service that the team provides.

The 2013 EMEA Business Excellence Forum featured a number of outstanding speakers with expertise in the world of small business, in addition to networking events, workshops seminars, and breakout sessions.

The Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Scotland aim to recognise excellence within procurement. And the benefits to the wider business and social community that smart, effective and sustainable purchasing can deliver. GO is the Media Sponsor for the Awards, and actively celebrates the success of individuals and teams working within procurement.

Sportsafe were thrilled to win Action ‘Business for Excellence 2012’ award showcasing steady growth and profitability. We demonstrated excellence in business picking up a prestigious, national award for its team. Announced at the gala ceremony at the prestigious Tower Hotel, London, the company was nominated and won out of 167 shortlisted national companies.

Winning ‘Growing Business of the Year’ (Medium/Large). Sportsafe were able to demonstrate a robust training programme for employees which offered potential to progress within the company. The operating model of the business is slick and efficient, and it was able to demonstrate to the judging panel a plan for continued growth and profitability.

Sportsafe was named Growing Business of the Year at the Colchester Business Awards in 2010. The recognition came at the end of a year in which the company grew by almost 30%. Sportsafe sells, installs and services sports equipment, and in 2010, had signed contracts worth more than £2 million which will increase its number of clients from around 12,000 to over 50,000 by 2012.

We was selected as a finalist for Essex County standard newspaper awards. The ceremony was held at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend on Sea. The Essex Business Awards have been established for 18 years and are a local platform for celebrating the very best business successes in the area.
