Sports halls regularly become exam rooms, dining spaces, performance venues and community event spaces. Chairs, tables, footwear, food and equipment can all mark an exposed sports surface. These loose-laid carpet tiles form a removable protective layer while keeping the hall available for wider use.

Choose Concord or Effex

Both options use a white polyolefin backing designed to avoid leaving black marks on the sports floor. Their Bfl-s1 fire classification makes the technical performance clear when the hall is being planned for another use.

Calculate the tiles for your hall

Select a standard hall classification to start with recognised dimensions, or enter a custom length and width. Each tile measures 1m × 2m and covers 2m². The calculator rounds the coverage up to complete tiles so the basket contains an orderable quantity.

Online ordering starts at 400m². Smaller areas can be sent to the Sportsafe team as a configured quote request without entering the measurements again.

Handling and storage

The tiles can be laid in sections and lifted again when the event has finished. Add the matching protective-floor-tile trolley to the order when a dedicated transport and storage solution is needed. The trolley remains a separate basket item, making its quantity and cost clear.

Common questions

How many tiles will I receive?

The calculator divides the hall area by 2m² and rounds up to the next complete tile. It shows both the tile count and the billable coverage before anything is added to the basket.

Can I change the standard hall dimensions?

Yes. Choosing a hall classification fills the length and width, but both measurements remain editable. A custom dimensions option is also available.

Can I order less than 400m²?

Areas below 400m² are handled by quotation. The configured tile, colour and dimensions are carried into the quote request for the team to review.

Is a trolley included?

No. The trolley is optional and its price is shown separately. When selected, WooCommerce adds it as its own basket and order line.
