Redborne Upper School – Flooring Refurbishment

Redborne Upper School contacted Sportsafe looking to re-surface their Sports Hall flooring for a new looking floor, whilst still staying within their budget and not having to re-lay the entire hall. The team got to work to find a solution for Redborne Upper School, keeping them within their budget, however achieving the look of a new Sports Hall Flooring.

Our Installation team got to work by first sanding down all of the existing flooring, bringing back a fresh layer of wood and allowing any scuffs or marks to be erased. The next step in the refurbishment is for a layer of seal to go down on the floor, this locks in the new sanded wood and will avoid any scuffs appearing on the wood itself, protecting it and prolonging the wear of the floor. Finally our installation team painted out the new bright markings for four Badminton courts, one Basketball court, one Volleyball court, one Netball court and one Handball court.

Redborne Upper School were left feeling over the moon with their new look in their sports hall. The new Line Markings have enhanced their sports hall use, increasing the number of students taking part in a variety of sporting activities and in turn boosting motivation during the exam period.
