In April 2015 Sportsafe UK completed its one millionth order! This is a huge achievement for the Essex based firm and has followed from a period of huge expansion.

Sportsafe started in Colchester in 1996 and over the last 19 years has grown significantly to become the UK’s leading supplier of sports equipment inspection and maintenance, operating out of four offices and employing over 60 staff.

To celebrate the one millionth order Sportsafe has decided to deliver the 1,000,000th order for free! Lever Park School in Bolton, Manchester is the lucky customer to get nearly £500 of repairs for free for being the 1,000,000 order.

Mr Daniel Hames, Acting Head of School, Lever Park School, says “This was a fantastic surprise for the school as every penny counts and a huge achievement for Sportsafe. We have used Sportsafe for a number of years for the safety inspections of our school sports equipment and cannot speak more highly of their team of engineers and office staff who are very highly trained, polite and work with us to meet the needs of the school.”

Sportsafe UK are delighted to have delivered 1,000,000 orders which include some 750,000 repairs of sports equipment and 250,000 installations ranging from play area installations to the sale and install of new fitness equipment.

Jonathan Neill, Managing Director says “The last four years have seen the rapid expansion of Sportsafe; we have gone from one office and a team of 15 through to 60 staff and four regional offices. It’s great to have reached such a milestone and it’s only right we celebrate. This really is testament to the hard work and expertise of Sportsafe staff.”

Sportsafe have another busy year ahead with huge investment into handheld engineer technology, the introduction of a Branded clothing division and plans for an additional UK office.
