Trampoline Park UK supply chain in place ahead of EU referendum
Sportsafe UK with its head office in Colchester, Essex if championing a “buy British” campaign for the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of Trampoline Parks.
Currently installing the Rebound Trampoline Park in Hull, Sportsafe invested four months in sourcing all of the elements of the parks prior to moving forward with the installation to ensure a continuous supply of goods, safeguard costs for the customer and exceed the standards of other parks who may have imported from overseas. Additionally this allowed Sportsafe to guarantee a 6-week installation target to meet the owners launch date of 25th May 2016.
The Rebound Trampoline Park will contain over 90 trampolines, tumble tracks, foam pits and “Gladiator-style” height platforms, along with an indoor cafeteria and a toddler trampoline area. Sportsafe also inspect, maintain and repair over 10,000 professional trampolines across the UK as part of their Sport Safety inspection and maintenance service to 15,000 schools, colleges and universities.
Jonathan Neill, Managing Director for Sportsafe UK said “We are extremely proud of the UK supply chain that we have created for our Trampoline Park delivery. The team has worked tirelessly to source the best of British for our parks.”
Sportsafe will only use British Steel to manufacture the frame, a complete UK supply chain for the trampoline beds and safety pads and all designed, manufactured, installed and maintained by the Sportsafe team which of course will meet British safety standards.
Amin Dedhar, Finance Director Sportsafe UK added “Having a secure supply chain in place of British manufacturers gives our team complete confidence in the products being installed. We can now fix costs enabling us to offer secure prices despite the outcome of the EU referendum when exchange rates may become volatile.”
