Sportsafe UK based at Eastgates in Colchester and with offices in the Midlands, Wales and Scotland are once again supporting our local teams.

Stanway Rovers U14 EJA team were invited by Cambridge United to participate in a tournament at the London Soccerdome (former venue for the David Beckham Academy) due to their excellent conduct over the 2013/14 season and proudly donning their new kit donated by Sportsafe UK.

Sportsafe UK sells, installs and services sports equipment for over 12,000 customers from Shetland to Bournemouth, and has won numerous business awards for its excellent standard of service.

The London Soccerdome is a unique space situated at the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula, next to the O2 arena. This facility was the largest indoor football arena in Europe and compromised of two full size pitches, three separate break out rooms and a food serving area featuring a fully equipped kitchen.

LSD closed its doors on 31st October 2014 to to make way for new housing; as part of the scheduled redevelopment of the Greenwich Peninsular so this was an amazing opportunity for the Stanway Rovers U14 EJA team to see the dome, use the facilities’ and tread in the footprints of some of their football sporting heroes.
