In February 2014 Sportsafe UK received a letter from Trinity High School in Renfrewshire Scotland. This letter was asking to provide support for a major project that the school was running in conjunction with the commonwealth games, and the schools international ties with  projects in Bangalore India.

After talking with the school Sportsafe UK decided that they would like to support this project and provided £250 worth of sports equipment, including hockey sticks and balls, Footballs, rugby balls cricket bats and much more.  This equipment will be donated to both primary and secondary schools in Bangalore India and will be extremely valuable to the pupils both for curriculum activities and social sports clubs. Sportsafe would like to take this opportunity to thank Trinity High School for organising the project, and are proud to help support community projects both in the UK and internationally.

This is the second project Sportsafe UK has supported within India, last year Sportsafe UK in conjunction with Hadlow Down Cricket club donated cricket equipment to a project in India called Goacricket. This fantastic project works with young people and provides lessons for less privileged children in Cricket, this has been a highly successful project and Sportsafe UK look forward to the success for Trinity High schools project.  A link to our previous blog post about Goacricket can be seen in the link bellow.

Sportsafe UK are delighted to be able to work with projects internationally and nationally and pride itself upon “supporting the next generation” Through projects like Trinity High School and Goacricket.
